Biography

Elizabeth Ingram Carlyle is a seasoned General Counsel. She spent fifteen of her twenty-five years in practice as a strategic business partner and has helped businesses thrive from both the legal and operations perspectives. In addition to litigation and general transactional matters, Elizabeth has developed corporate policy, advised businesses on employment issues, and monitored compliance. While at Vision Source, a national optometry franchise with over three thousand locations, Elizabeth was responsible for the annual franchise filing and developed a contract triage system to manage the extensive workflow.

Elizabeth grew up in Diboll, Texas. She graduated from Baylor University and Baylor Law School, where she was a member of the Order of the Barristers. Elizabeth is a life-long learner and recently completed coursework at both The Wharton School of Business and Cornell University. Elizabeth and her husband, Trent, have two children and are active members of Second Baptist Church. She has taught Adult Bible Study for over twenty years and enjoys using her experience to teach the Legal Environment of Business/Business Law at Houston Baptist University.
