Biography

Jordan is an experienced commercial litigator, representing plaintiffs and defendants, both large and small, before federal and state courts, FINRA, and arbitration. Jordan has spent his career counseling clients in all phases of litigation, including pre-suit analysis, discovery, taking and defending depositions, motions practice, and trial, securing favorable judgments and settlement agreements. Jordan has represented clients in a diverse array of business settings, including insurance coverage disputes, banking and finance, industrial construction, collections, and commercial trucking disputes, to name a few.

Jordan graduated from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri, in 2010 with a degree in business and minor in finance. He then attended Pepperdine University’s School of Public Policy, where he focused on economics and international relations. After graduating in the top of his class, Jordan moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, and attended Tulane University Law School, graduating in 2015. Because of his education and experience, Jordan brings a unique perspective to resolve complex disputes for his clients.

Representative Matters

Successfully defended broker-dealer in connection with a lawsuit for securities violations and fraud stemming from broker’s ultra vires acts.

Successfully defended large investment bank in connection with a lawsuit for fraud and breach of contract stemming from the attempted sale of royalty interests by a trustee.

Successfully defended large construction and engineering company for breach of contract and fraud, obtaining favorable settlement agreement.

Successfully defended insurance company, obtaining summary judgment on claims for breach of contract and violations of the Texas insurance code.
