Biography
Thomas Moss has successfully represented plaintiffs and defendants in complex litigation regarding large-scale commercial transactions, professional liability and a wide range of business disputes involving claims of fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract and issues of corporate governance. He has substantive experience undertaking investigations to assess potential claims against corporate officers, directors and other fiduciaries. Thomas also advises clients in a broad range of industries regarding corporate, real estate and other commercial transactions.
As a Certified Public Accountant, Thomas provides clients a unique perspective to resolve sophisticated financial and business matters at all phases of litigation. Prior to working in commercial litigation, Thomas advised multinational businesses in connection with global restructuring projects and international tax matters.

Trial counsel in successful arbitration by post-bankruptcy trust on behalf of creditors against former CEO and president of oil and gas exploration and development company for a substantial 8-figure award.
Successfully investigated, prosecuted and settled claims against large regional auditing firm for audit failures related to an oil and gas producer’s misstated financials.
Successfully investigated, prosecuted and settled claims against large regional auditing firm for audit failures associated with a full-service clinical laboratory that provided comprehensive testing for cardiovascular disease and supported approximately 10,000 physicians nationwide.
Successfully defended and obtained settlement of counterclaims in connection with a lawsuit involving the sale of a privately-owned oil and gas products company.
Successfully defended numerous privately owned and publicly traded entities in connection with fraudulent transfer and preference actions filed by bankruptcy trustees.
Represented privately owed company in connection with the sale of its multi-state resort business to a publicly traded corporation involving consideration of more than $60 million.
