The Texas Supreme Court recently denied review in Cornucopia Oil & Gas, LLC v. Berry et al., leaving in place a favorable decision from the Fourteenth Court of Appeals that affirmed our client’s right to pursue litigation in Texas against an opposing party that consented to personal jurisdiction here.
This result underscores the importance of carefully drafted agreements and reinforces the principle that parties will be held to the jurisdictional commitments they make.
