Biography

Sabrina Tour is a commercial litigator with trial and arbitration experience. She has tried cases both to the bench and to the jury, and has participated in arbitrations in the US and abroad. She has handled all aspects of litigation, including pre-suit investigation, discovery, motions, trials, and appeals. Sabrina’s practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation, oil and gas, and sports law.

Sabrina attended Rice University where she graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and Sport Management in May 2009. After graduation, she taught for two years at Yellowstone Academy, a school for underprivileged children in inner-city Houston. Sabrina graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School in May 2014.

Sabrina previously held the position of General Counsel of a top 5 national sports agency which represents NFL players and NFL and college coaches and team executives.

Representative Matters

No.001483; Associated Pipe Line Contractors, Inc. v. Sunoco Pipeline, L.P. et al; in the Court of Common Pleas, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. Represent pipeline installers in dispute involving breach of contract and misrepresentations related to the Mariner East 2 Pipeline resulting in over $55 million in damages.

No.01-15-003-5464; Baker Hughes Oilfield Operations, Inc. v. Intrepid Drilling, LLC; in the American Arbitration Association. Represented well operator in oilfield services in dispute involving alleged failure of primary production casing cement job and resulting damages, including loss of well.

No.15-09-00205-CVK; Origin Production Group, LLC v. EOG Resources, Inc.; in the 81st Judicial District Court of Karnes County, Texas. Represent well operator in oilfield services dispute involving alleged frac hit by adjacent horizontal well operator into existing vertical well and resulting damages, including loss of well.

No.HUD-L-3889-15; Shapiro v. Trimaran Capital Partners, et al.; in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, Hudson County. Represent former officer and minority investor in national retail company in connection with claims against majority investor and others for fraudulent inducement to extend maturity date of certain subordinated notes later significantly impaired by company’s bankruptcy.

No.4:15-cv-01902; The Landing Council of Co-Owners v. Federal Insurance Company; in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division. Represent condominium homeowners’ council seeking reimbursement of defense costs against D&O insurance company for breach of duty to defend lawsuit by certain condominium owners alleging various acts of mismanagement.
